SWISS BALL TRAINING

The Swiss Ball is a great all round training and recovery tool allowing improvements in balance and both overall muscle and core strength.
First used by physiotherapists for treatment of newborns and infants as physical therapy for neuro-developmental problems, swiss balls are commonly seen in gyms as part of a general fitness routine.

The benefit of exercising with a Swiss ball come from the body's response to the instability of the ball, leading to improved activation of core muscles. The improvement in core muscle strength, endurance and coordination result in improved posture, muscle balance and a reduction in back related pain.
